    How to Apply?

    The requirement for the Premedical Sciences Program

    1. High School Diploma
    2. High School Transcript
      • 6 WAEC Subjects (2 Science subjects, Mathematics, English) Grades A – C or
      • 6 GSCE Subjects (2 Science subjects, Mathematics, English) Grades 9 – 4 or equivalence
    3. Personal Essay expressing your interest in studying Medicine
    4. 2 Letters of Recommendation from professionals in the field of science who are aware of your interest in becoming a Physician

    The requirement for the Doctor of Medicine Program

    Undergraduate GPA with at least 2.7 from a recognized university or college, or University/College 90 credit hours with the completion of the following courses:

    • Biology – 2 semesters
    • Chemistry – 2 semesters
    • Physics – 1 semester
    • English – 1 semester
    • Maths -1 semester

    Application Process

    Stage 1

    Applications are accepted three times per year, for January, May, and September trimesters. Students can apply online. After the admissions office receives a full application (application form and associated documents), the academic committee will process the application within ten business days.

    Stage 2

    The applicant will be invited to attend a virtual interview with representatives of the admissions committee. After completing the interview, applicants should expect an email within ten business days on their application status.
