Georgetown American University offers a limited number of scholarships available. The following scholarships are available
1. Full Scholarship for outstanding Guyanese students
- 2 per academic year
2. Partial Scholarships for Premedical Sciences
- 10 per Guyanese students per year
- 2 per international students per year
3. Partial Scholarships for Preclinical Sciences
- 10 per Guyanese students per year
- 2 per international students per year)
4. Scholarships for Clinical Sciences studies in the USA
- 10 for Guyanese students
- 5 for International students
To apply for scholarships, the following steps must be taken:
1. Be approved for a program at Georgetown American University

Refund Policy
Application fees, Registration fees, and *Tuition Deposit are Non-refundable. The University’s refund policy states that:
- Refund requested within 14 days of the commencement of class enrolled: 4/5 of Annual Tuition fee refund
- Refund requested between 15 – 30 days of the commencement of class enrolled: 3/5 Annual Tuition fee refund
- Refund requested between 1 – 4 months of the commencement of class enrolled: 2/5 Annual Tuition fee refund
* Tuition Deposit is only refunded if a student visa is not approved for the student to travel to Guyana.
