The board of trustees is the governing body of the University. It is chaired by Mr. Samuel London, who holds a Masters in Engineer from the University of California, Berkley, served over fifty years in management and leadership. The board is responsible for the University’s effective management and to ensure that its mission and vision are fulfilled. Other members of the board of trustee include :

2. Dr. Rudolph Cummings – Medical Doctor and former Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of Health, Guyana
3. Dr. Patrick Griffith- Neurologist and Adjunct Professor of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical
4. Mr. Andre Davis – CPA; MBA (University of South Wales the UK)
5. Dr. Melissa Varswyk – CEO and President of GAU; Post grad Cert. Health Profession Education; Doctor of Medicine (MD)
