The School of Medicine at Georgetown American University is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring medical students, as well as conducting their own research in their area of expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and mentor medical students in classroom and clinical settings
• Develop and maintain a research program in their area of expertise
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
• Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and activities
• Provide service to the university and community

Qualifications:

• MD or MD/PhD degree
• Board certification in relevant specialty
• Strong track record of research and publications
• Strong teaching and mentoring skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
